4-star LB Michael Harris commits to Maryland

Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley four-star linebacker Michael Harris has announced his commitment to Maryland. He chose the Terrapins after backing off his pledge to UCF on Dec. 18.

Harris is the No. 344 overall prospect and No. 35 linebacker in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 61 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound prospect took an official visit to College Park on the weekend of June 4.

Harris has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.6K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
