New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning has been offered by Miami, his coach told Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman.

Manning is the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is considered a Five-Star Plus+ prospect, which means that each of the four major recruit sites list him as a five-star.

Coaches from across the country have visited Manning’s school over the past week, including Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, Alabama head coach Nick Saban, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, and a number of others.

The Hurricanes are the latest program looking to get into the mix for Manning, joining Oklahoma, Michigan, Stanford and others. Manning has largely remained focused on five schools, though: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas. Each of those schools have had a head coach or assistants visit his high school football games this fall, as well as his basketball games this winter.

Manning took trips to each of those five schools. And is expected to take official visits to some, if not all of them this spring or summer. He competes in both basketball and track and field for Isidore Newman, so they will happen around those schedules.

The Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) gives the Bulldogs a slight edge over Alabama to land Manning, with Texas, Ole Miss and Clemson trailing behind.

As for the Rebels, Ole Miss made a good impression on Arch Manning when he visited in October. And he has quite the family connection to the school, with his dad Archie, uncle Eli and father Cooper all playing for or attending the school.
