Taylor discusses visits to three programs

Tatum took visits to DukeMichigan and Texas earlier this year. He broke down those trips with On3’s Sam Spiegelman on Jan. 31.

Duke: “My relationship with Coach (TrooperTaylor, he recruits the area and he’s been to my school a couple of times. I’ve seen him and Coach (MikeElko at (Texas) A&M and we made it a plan.”

Michigan: “It was great to… see Coach (MikeHart and (JimHarbaugh on Saturday for most of the day. It was great hanging out and talking to them outside of football. I liked the way that Michigan runs itself… Since Harbaugh has been there, seeing the coaching side is real. It’s not just on the field. They attack in the weight room… and it’s a high-level public school.”

Texas: “Being up there with the top recruits, being one of Coach (TashardChoice‘s top recruits was cool to see who he’s pushing hard for. All of the top running backs in the nation were there, getting to meet with (Steve Sarkisian) and chop it up for a little for some one-on-one time was important to me. It was a big junior day and not everyone got one-on-one time with him. He was telling me how he would use me in football, how big of a piece I could be in the offense.”
