Four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn of Rochester (MI) Adams High announced his commitment to Michigan Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 235 pounder chose the Wolverines over Penn State, Ole Miss, and others.

Prieskorn on why he chose Michigan

“It’s close to home and also I feel like the class we are brewing up right now is really special,” Prieskorn said. “And we are not done yet. It just felt like home when I walked in the building. All of the coaches are great people to be around as well.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Prieskorn

“I’m close with pretty much everyone,” Prieskorn said. “Obviously coach Newsome, Harbaugh and coach Moore. Their plan is to use me kinda like how they are using Colston Loveland right now.”

What it means to Brady Prieskorn to stay home

“It means a lot because I’m a hometown kid. Everyone already knows my name and my whole family can come and watch me every game.”

The Michigan tight end joins coach Harbaugh and the Wolverines’ Top 5 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by Jadyn Davis, Jordan Marshall, and others.

Brady Prieskorn Personal Life (via On3 Database)

“Brady Prieskorn made a big impact for Rochester Hills (Michigan) Adams High School early on in his career. He played as a freshman for the Highlanders. Then, as a sophomore, he played a big part in Adams advancing to the state finals by playing on both sides of the ball. Then he caught two touchdown passes against Belleville in the title game. “I’ve known Brady since he was a little kid, like 3 years old,” Adams coach Tony Patritto told BVM Sports. “I coached his older brothers in youth football. He has just gotten bigger, faster, and more consistent every season. He just gets better every game, in terms of his ability to make plays on both sides of the ball. From batting passes down as a D-end, and really doing a good job in the run game. Also, as a blocker and as a receiver, he’s become more dominant every week.”

“Brady’s older brother, Caden Prieskorn, was a 2022 second-team All-AAC pick at tight end for the Memphis Tigers. His parents are Jill and Jerry Prieskorn. Away from football, Prieskorn enjoys playing basketball and working out. His favorite musician is Drake, and his favorite restaurant is Chipotle. Prieskorn plans on majoring in mathematics in college.”

Prieskorn ranks as the No. 66 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 5 tight end and the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $114K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
