Mississippi State offers UCF 4-star TE commit Kylan Fox
Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star tight end Kylan Fox has been committed to UCF since July 4, but the 6-foot-4.5, 201-pounder has been the subject of flip rumors with National Signing Day less than three weeks away.
The likes of Auburn and Louisville are working to try and lure the Peach State product away from his pledge to Gus Malzahn and the Golden Knights. On Sunday, Fox announced a new offer, this time coming from Starkville and Mississippi State.
New Bulldogs head coach Jeff Lebby is looking to get the ball rolling on the recruiting trail, and Fox is clearly an ideal flip target. Miss Stateās recruiting class currently features just one tight end in McCalla (Ala.) McAdory three-star JaCorey Whitted.
Fox is the No. 360 overall prospect and No. 22 TE in the 2024 cycle, according to theĀ On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Heās also the No. 42 player in Georgia.
āIt was the constant relationship that I had with the coaches,ā Fox told On3 about his decision to pick UCF. āEvery time that I went on campus, it just felt like home. I knew Orlando was the place that I wanted to beā¦I had an idea after the official visit. I wanted to make sure that nobody could beat them over June. They were the ones that stood out.ā
Fox does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industryās leading index that sets high school and college athletesā projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athleteās value at a certain moment in time.

Miss State looking to round out 2024 recruiting class
The Bulldogsā class took a hit on Sunday, as Somerville (Tenn.) Germantown three-star offensive tackleĀ Kison Shepard announced his decommitment from MSU. The class now features just 15 commits and ranks No. 34 in theĀ On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Headlining the class is Sardis (Miss.) North Panola four-star wide receiverĀ JJ Harrell, the No. 180 recruit and No. 30 wideout in the 2024 cycle. He has since reaffirmed his pledge to the Bulldogs following the hiring of Lebby.
āCoach Lebby is a great offensive coach,āĀ Harrell told On3 after the hiring was announced by the university. āHe gets his receivers the ball and his offenses score 40 points per game. That alone should make any receiver in the country want to play for him.ā
āIām excited about the hire and Iām looking forward to next season,ā he added in.
Other top commits in the MSU class include: Madison (Miss.) IMG Academy four-star interior offensive linemanĀ Jimothy Lewis, Lexington (Miss.) Holmes County three-star defensive linemanĀ Terrance Hibbler, Whitted and Brookhaven (Miss.) three-star athlete Xavier Gayten.
