Five-star St. Louis (Mo.) University High wide receiver Ryan Wingo is as big of a recruiting target as there is for Eli Drinkwitz and Missouri in the 2024 cycle.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Missouri.

He has been on Missouri’s campus a handful of times already as a recruit, and the Tigers are set to get him back in Columbia this summer for an official visit. According to 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, Wingo will take an official visit to Mizzou on the weekend on June 23.

Wingo has also locked in an official visit to Georgia for the first weekend of June.

Those two programs, along with Tennessee, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Arkansas are in heavy pursuit of the elite wide receiver.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Georgia is the school trending slightly to land his commitment at the moment. The Bulldogs hold a 50.1 percent chance of adding him to their class.

“Things have shifted a little with wide receiver Ryan Wingo over the last couple of months,” On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons wrote on Tuesday. “He was busy in March with visits. Heading into March, I liked Tennessee’s position. Now, based on what I am hearing, Georgia is trending.”

Ryan Wingo Scouting Summary

“An electric playmaker who picks up yards in a hurry. Ran a 10.64 100m, 21.46 200m and a 50.72 400m in 2022. The ability to defeat the angle with the ball in his hands is among the best in the 2024 cycle early on. Can take the top off of defenses with ease but is not just a straight line player. His ability to make defenders miss in tight spaces and finish runs is rare for someone with his long speed. Has a chance to be an impact player at the next level. Older brother is former Arkansas running back Ronnie Wingo.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
