Four-star Austin Swartz was courtside for NC State’s 84-60 win over Duke. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was on an unofficial visit to the Wolfpack and walked away with his seventh high major offer.

“The atmosphere was awesome,” Swartz told On3. “The togetherness of NC State’s team was impressive tonight. Everyone on the court was engaged, including the bench. It was an amazing game.”

NC State was led by shooting guard Terquavion Smith. The sophomore guard went for 24 points on 4-of-8 from three.

“Terquavion started rolling in the first half, and everyone on the team followed,” Swartz said.

Swartz is off to a hot start this season. At the recent George Lynch Invitational, the four-star averaged 22.0 points and 6.5 assists. He posted a 61.9 true shooting percentage for the event. Swartz noticed how guard friendly the Wolfpack offense is, with 59.5 percent of NC State’s points this season coming from their three starting guards.

“I see myself as a seamless fit there,” Swartz said. “They space the floor, and the freedom they give their guards is something that is good for my style. Their free-flowing offense compliments my game.”

Austin Swartz does not have any official visits set yet; however, next in line for him is an unofficial visit to Tennessee on January 28. He carries offers from Illinois, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgia, and Houston, among others.
