Chander (Ariz.) five-star quarterback and Ohio State commit Dylan Raiola will be visiting Nebraska this weekend.

The visit should come as no worry to Buckeyes fans. Raiola is more along for the ride than actually visiting as a recruit.

Raiola is the son of Dominic Raiola, who was an All-American offensive lineman for the Cornhuskers before embarking on his NFL career. Dominic’s brother, Donovan Raiola, is also the offensive line coach for Nebraska.

Raiola’s family from Hawaii has flown in to watch the game, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons reports.

The Huskers also extended an offer this week to Dylan Raiola’s brother, 2026 quarterback Dayton Raiola. The offer was Dayton Raiola’s first college football offer.

Raiola is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“He’s playing efficiently as a junior, completing over 70% of his passes for 14 touchdowns against three interceptions at over 10 yards per attempt,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said earlier this month. “Raiola has led the Wolves to a 6-0 start and top ten national ranking. He’s well established as a top arm talent and is showing the ability and willingness to play within the structure of Chandler’s offense. It will be interesting to track how he plays as the competition level is likely to increase during playoff action.”

He has been committed to Ohio State since the spring.

Raiola currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $266k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
