3-star CB Joshua Fussell commits to Northwestern
Cincinnati (Ohio) Lakota West three-star cornerback Joshua Fussell has committed to Northwestern, announcing the news Thursday on social media.
The Wildcats have now landed seven commits since last weekend, when they had many of their top targets in on official visits. Fussell was one of them.
Northwestern now has the 24th class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
He is the No. 988 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of 5.9k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
The other players to commit to Northwestern this week are St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College three-star defensive lineman Tyler Gant, Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward three-star EDGE Michael Kilbane, Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial three-star defensive lineman Dylan Roberts, cornerback three-star cornerback Cole Shivers and Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern offensive tackle Jordan Knox.
