Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star EDGE Keon Keeley will be returning to Ohio State for an unofficial visit on Sept. 24 for the Buckeyes’ game against Wisconsin. The 6-foot-6, 245 pound prospect took his official visit to Ohio State on Sept. 3.

Keeley, a former Notre Dame commit, recently told On3’s Chad Simmons that he is deciding between Alabama, Florida and the Buckeyes. He was impressed by Ohio State and the atmosphere of the Buckeyes’ season-opener.

“Just the game day atmosphere and the environment and seeing how the players prepare before the game, but also how the fans really love Ohio State football,” Keeley said. “It’s amazing.”

The five-star also had high praise for Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

“He lays out the plan for you and lets you know that you can succeed if you follow the process and dream big,” Keeley said of Johnson’s message to him. “If you believe it, you could see it happen.”

Keeley is the No. 11 overall prospect and No. 1 EDGE in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Florida.

On3 rates Keeley higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, Keeley is the No. 3 overall prospect and No. 1 player in Florida.

Keeley has an On3 NIL Valuation of $226K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
