Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland is currently taking an unofficial visit to Ohio State. The Buckeyes are one of Noland’s top seven programs, however head coach Ryan Day and his staff have not offered him yet.

Noland is the No. 111 overall prospect and No. 10 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Georgia.

On3 rates Noland higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 45 overall prospect, No. 4 quarterback and No. 8 player in Georgia.

“It speaks for itself,” Noland told On3’s Jeremy Johnson on March 25 about Ohio State. “They get Heisman Trophy finalists almost every year. From a quarterback standpoint, they treat their quarterbacks like they’re in the NFL and they develop them like they’re in the NFL. I think the quarterback room at Ohio State has top tier competition. The guys there are really dialed in to Ohio State football and they love getting coached and developed.”

Noland, who is committing on April 8, will choose between Alabama, Miami, Clemson, Ohio State, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Oregon. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Hurricanes have a close lead for his commitment at 19.8%.

‘I think right now is the perfect time to do it,” Noland said. “Mentally and emotionally, I’m feeling good about it. I think all these schools have done a great job recruiting me and being geniune when I came to their place and they welcomed me with open arms. That’s why I wanted to narrow things down and get myself ready and prepared for spring ball. These are the schools I wanted to narrow down to and I feel very comfortable doing that.”

The 6-foot-2.5, 185-pound signal-caller visited Texas A&M earlier this week. Meanwhile, he is seeing the the Crimson Tide on April 3.

Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class is No. 4 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. It also ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes’ group is currently led by Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. It previously included Phoenix (Ariz.) Pinnacle Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola — the No. 1 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking — who decommitted on Dec. 17.
