Brice Sensabaugh, a 6-foot-6 small forward out of Orlando (Fla.) Lake Highland Prep tells On3 he’s committed to Ohio State basketball for the class of 2022.

Sensabaugh is the Buckeyes’ fifth commitment of the class, joining four stars Bruce Thornton, Felix Okpara, Roddy Gayle Jr., and three-star Bowen Hardman.

Sensabaugh ultimately chose the Ohio State Buckeyes over Alabama, Georgia Tech, and Florida. He also received offers from Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Virginia, Miami, among others.

Brice Sensabaugh on why he chose Ohio State

“Growing up, being from Ohio, I was an Ohio State fan,” Sensabaugh said. “I had shirts and cups and coasters since I was a little boy so it was really my dream school.”

The opportunity to play minutes right away contributed to Sensabaugh’s decision.

“They’re graduating a lot of people in my position,” Sensabaugh said. “So I feel like I would have a great opportunity there. Obviously, I have to work for it, and they mentioned that to me but they’re graduating a lot of scorers and big guards so I feel like it would be a great opportunity for me to step in and play. The coaching staff is super down-to-earth and humble. They’re great people, along with the players.”
