Ohio State’s offense appears to be heating up against Michigan. Garrett Wilson also added another highlight-reel catch to his resume, too.

Wilson made a spectacular catch on a 25-yard touchdown pass from CJ Stroud to put Ohio State on top 10-7 in the second quarter against Michigan at The Big House. It was Wilson’s 12th touchdown of the season, second on the Buckeyes only to Chris Olave.

Michigan struck first in The Game with a 75-yard opening touchdown drive, capped by a 14-yard run from AJ Henning. The Wolverines appeared to be marching again on their next drive, but Cade McNamara threw an interception to give it right back to the Buckeyes. Ohio State settled for a field goal, though, which made it a 7-3 Michigan lead.

Wilson is coming off a huge game last week against Michigan State. He had seven receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns in the air as the Buckeyes rolled past the Spartans 56-7.

The Buckeyes and Wolverines are currently facing off in The Game on FOX.

Ohio State without multiple players against Michigan in ‘The Game’

Ohio State is a little bit shorthanded on Saturday in ‘The Game’ against Michigan. The Buckeyes will be without multiple depth pieces on defense, and likely another on offense.

According to Austin Ward of Lettermen Row, Ohio State will be without cornerback Sevyn Banks, linebacker Palaie Gaoteote, and likely offensive lineman Josh Fryar as well.

Ward reported that Fryar was injured during pregame warmups.

“Can probably add backup offensive lineman Josh Fryar to this list,” Ward tweeted. “He just went down with a leg injury during warmups and is heading to the locker room.”

Despite missing a few depth pieces, Ohio State will have its entire starting lineup in tact against Michigan.

The matchup has huge postseason implications for both teams both in the Big Ten and in the College Football Playoff.
