2024 4-star DL Omar White gains Oklahoma offer
Oklahoma extended an offer to 2024 Leesburg (Ga.) Lee Country four-star defensive lineman Omar White on Saturday. White announced the news over social media.
The 6-foot-2, 335 pound defender is the No. 93 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 19 player in Georgia.
White’s offer comes one day after Oklahoma offered 2024 four-star linebacker TJ Capers, the No. 6 overall prospect and No. 1 linebacker in the On3 Consensus.
While there are no commitments in the Sooners’ 2024 recruiting class, Oklahoma’s 2023 recruiting class is ranked No. 12 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
White has gained offers from some of the top college football programs in the country. They include Alabama, Notre Dame and Texas.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas A&M is the leader for White’s pledge at 47.2%. Clemson has the second-best odds at 21.6%, while South Carolina has an 18.5% chance.
White has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
