Forney (Texas) four-star safety Aaron Flowers is visiting Oklahoma this weekend for the Sooners’ rivalry game against Oklahoma State. He announced the news over social media.

Flowers is the No. 181 overall prospect and No. 16 safety in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 30 player in Texas.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pound defensive back has received 12 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, SMU is leading for his commitment at 44.6%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

“The coaching staff talked about my high school game and how they enjoy watching me play,” Flowers told Billy Embody of On the Pony Express about his November visit to SMU. “How I have a great attitude and they are trying to recruit me to stay in Dallas. I like the program a lot. The program and the culture is amazing and showed it while I was there.”

Regarding the Sooners, they have no commitments in their 2024 recruiting class. However, Oklahoma’s 2023 class is No. 7 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the Big 12.

Flowers has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
