South Bend (Ind.) St Joseph’s four-star safety Daeh McCullough is taking an official visit to Oklahoma this weekend. Joining the Cincinnati commit on the trip is his brother, Dasan McCullough, a linebacker at Indiana who is currently in the NCAA transfer portal.

During his weekend in Norman, McCullough tried on the Sooners’ away uniforms. He also spent time with head coach Brent Venables.

McCullough is the No. 350 overall prospect and No. 30 safety in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Indiana.

The four-star is the top-ranked recruit in Cincinnati’s 2023 recruiting class. However, Oklahoma has a 45% chance to flip him, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Oklahoma’s 2023 recruiting class is currently No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the Big 12. Oklahoma has two safety pledges in Tallahassee (Fla.) Robert F. Munroe Day School four-star Makari Vickers and Mcalester (Okla.) three-star Erik McCarty.

McCullough has an On3 NIL Valuation of $100K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
