LOOK: Oklahoma 5-star QB commit Jackson Arnold back in Norman
Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star quarterback Jackson Arnold returned to Oklahoma on Saturday night for the Sooners’ rivalry game against Oklahoma State. It is his ninth visit to Norman and first since Sept. 10.
Prior to kickoff, the Oklahoma commit was spotted on the field. The 6-foot-1, 198-pound signal-caller took his official visit to the Sooners on June 3.
Arnold is the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Texas.
Additionally, Arnold is the highest-rated recruit in the Sooners’ 2023 recruiting class. Oklahoma’s group currently ranks No. 7 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the Big 12. The class includes six top-100 prospects including Arnold, Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City five-star EDGE Adepoju Adebawore and Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Lee’s Summit North four-star offensive tackle Cayden Green.
