Des Moines (Iowa) Southeast Polk offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor snagged his 33rd offer from a Division I program Wednesday from Oklahoma State.

The offer is Proctor’s first since Mississippi State offered him two months ago.

According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Kadyn Proctor is the top offensive lineman in the 2023 recruiting cycle and 10th-best player in the country.

Kadyn Proctor named a top 12 in early September

The Pokes offer to Kadyn Proctor comes a little later in his recruiting cycle than some other juniors. Proctor has already named a top 12.

Those teams are Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Iowa State, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.

He later told Lettermen Row’s Zack Carpenter that he is open to going anywhere that is best for his recruitment.

“There’s not too much pressure because I’ve got choices from all over,” Kadyn Proctor said. “It’s not too much pressure to stay in Iowa. It’s my choice. Proximity doesn’t really matter.”

Proctor is also a teammate of another consensus 5-star

Consensus five-star safety Xavier Nwamkpa is one of the most desired safeties in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Nwamkpa is the No. 25 overall prospect in the 2022 On3 Consensus. He is choosing between Iowa, Notre Dame and Ohio State. Those three schools — along with Alabama — are currently leading the charge in Kadyn Proctor’s recruitment.

Nwamkpa has set a decision day for Dec. 8.

“The best defensive back prospect from the state of Iowa in the internet recruiting era,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes of Nwampka. “An imposing, physical presence over the middle of the field, standing over 6-foot-2 and wielding significant striking power. A strong form tackler in space. Plays with instincts as a cover two safety and has the ball skills to come down with contested catches both at safety and receiver. Registers as a good athlete at the position.”
