Class of 2023 four-star center Brandon Garrison has committed to Oklahoma State, he told On3.

The 6-foot-9, 215-pound prospect out of Oklahoma City (Okla.) Del City chose the Cowboys over offers from Kansas, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and others. He is OSU’s first commitment to the class.

Garrison ranks as the No. 52 prospect in the 2023 class according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also ranked as the No. 6 center.

This summer, Garrison is averaging 12.8 points (61% FG), 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game for Team Griffin (OK) on the EYBL Circuit.

Garrison talks commitment to OK State

“I chose Oklahoma State because I feel it’s the best fit for me,” Brandon Garrison said to On3. “The coaching staff has been recruiting me for two-and-a-half years and always kept it real with me. I want to play for my home state and the coaches have a winning mentality.”

Scouting Summary

Strong and physical presence in the paint. A developing frame With broad shoulders, long arms and strong hands. Has displayed good feet on both ends of the floor, with the feel for being a very good team defender. Plays with a high-end motor, and competes for every rebounds. Possesses good touch inside 12 feet, and that shows up in contested scenarios with extended arms working to change a shot. Will work to do a lot of little things on both ends that don’t show up in a box score. – On3’s Gerry Hamilton, Senior National Recruiting Analyst
