Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County four-star linebacker Jaron Willis was committed to Georgia Tech until recently. After re-opening his recruitment, Ole Miss was trending instantly, and he has committed to the Rebels.
“I am ready to be a landshark,” Willis said. “I was ready to switch my pattern up and get out of Georgia. Having family in Mississippi was big and I love Ole Miss.
“God led me to this decision and I am excited about playing for coach Lane Kiffin. He is changing things at Ole Miss and I get to be part of it.
“We are going to do big things in the SEC under coach Kiffin.”
Willis committed to Ole Miss over Arkansas and Florida State. Some label him as an athlete, but he is expected to play inside the box as a linebacker.
