It came down to Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee for Brycen Sanders. LSU was in the top four, but the Tigers were eliminated earlier this spring.

After taking official visits to Norman, Oxford, and Knoxville, the No. 245 prospect in the On3 Consensus has committed to the Rebels.

“I have committed to Ole Miss,” Sanders told On3. “I made my final decision Sunday. Since Friday, me and my family talked in-depth and we came to Ole Miss as the best place for me.”

After making the final decision with his family, Sanders let the Ole Miss coaching staff know. He talked to offensive line coach Jake Thornton first. Offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, Jr. was next. Then it was Lane Kiffin. All were excited.

The four-star out of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School feels the same. Sanders attended a game in Oxford last fall, then took his official visit, and he chose the Rebels for multiple reasons.

“I have a great relationship with the coaches there and they wanted me more than anyone else. I felt that. Oxford is also a great town and Ole Miss is a great campus. They’re also in the SEC, the best conference in the world, so who wouldn’t want to play in that?”

Kiffin has a lot of eyes on him. He is entertaining on social media. He took Ole Miss to double-digit wins last season. And there is a buzz around the roster he is putting together.

“The vibe in Oxford is excitement. They won 10 games this past year and I believe they are even more talented this year. The coaching staff is recruiting like crazy and I think coach Kiffin is building a championship team.

“He’s one of the best at recruiting out of the transfer portal, and this 2023 class is going to be very talented as well. I’m going to come to Ole Miss and be an All-American and a National Champion.”
