Oklahoma City (Okla.) IMG Academy four-star defensive lineman David Stone will be taking an unofficial visit to Oregon on Nov. 12. He announced the news over social media on Saturday night.

Stone is the No. 19 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound prospect received an offer from the Ducks on Sept. 16. He previously took an unofficial visit to Eugene on June 23.

Stone currently holds 18 offers.  According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction MachineOklahoma has a commanding lead for Stone’s commitment at 97.5%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains no commitments. However, the Ducks’ 2023 class ranks No. 11 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the Pac-12

Stone has an On3 NIL Valuation of $126K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
