Four-star Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman EDGE Cyrus Moss recently narrowed his recruitment to three schools, and he visited one of them this weekend.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder made his way to the Pacific Northwest to see Oregon, where the Ducks held off a late rally by rival Oregon State to win 38-29. Oregon, Alabama, and Arizona State are the three teams still in contention for Moss’s commitment.

Moss is the No. 82 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is ranked as the country’s No. 8 EDGE and the No. 2 player in Nevada.

Cyrus Moss still has at least one visit remaining

The visit this weekend to Oregon was an unofficial one for Moss, who made his official visit over the summer. He’s also now been to Arizona State three times, and has one expected visit left: Alabama on December 10.

“All three schools have been a part of the recruiting process for me from the beginning,” Moss recently told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I have been communicating with coaches from Alabama, Arizona State, and Oregon a lot, so the relationships I have established with them are great.”

His visit to Tuscaloosa will happen just days before he can officially sign with a program. But he hasn’t decided if he’ll sign December 15 or wait until the Under Armour All-American Game on Jan. 2.

“Things are really neck and neck right now between the three schools,” Moss said. “Each compares to each other in the major categories I am looking for and I have built close relationships with each coaching staff. … In the end, I will go off feeling more than anything.”
