The Oregon Duck football program is riding high after their massive victory over Ohio State.

The Ducks have revealed their uniform combination for their Week 3 matchup against the Stony Brook Seawolves.

Check out the uniform combo below from Oregon football’s Twitter account.

The helmets are bright yellow, with gray wings on the side. The numbers are green. The shoulders are a bit of a green and yellow combination. The visor always makes for an intimidating look, no matter the uniform.

The yellow uniforms are the last look for Oregon before Pac-12 play commences. It will be tough to ever top the white uniforms from last week’s upset victory over Ohio State.

Oregon has a near endless combination of uniforms but the white helmets with the green chrome, those have got to go down in Ducks lore.

The uniforms will not only remind the Ducks of the huge win, but some of the cleanest looking chrome helmets in college football.

The helmets last week were similar to the “Storm Trooper” uniforms the team wore under former head coach Chip Kelly back in 2012.

Oregon linebackers

The linebacker room at Oregon has taken a massive hit lately, with Justin Flowe, Dru Mathis and Justin LaDuke all expected to miss extended time this season for the Ducks.

Uniforms with diamond plated shoulder pads

The diamond plated shoulder pads for Oregon bring back fond memories of one of the greatest signal-callers in college football history, Ducks legend Dennis Dixon.

Dixon was not only one of the greatest players in Oregon football history, he had some of the most beautiful ball-fakes the game has ever seen. Just look at the picture above, where he’s literally palming the football. His ball fakes were effortless.

In the 2007 season, Dixon put together his finest work for the Ducks and cemented his legacy in the hearts of Ducks fans forever. He completed over 67% of his passes for 2,136 passing yards, while tossing in 20 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

In just 10 games, he rushed for over 580 rushing yards, while racking up nine touchdowns on the ground. Many people believe he would have won the Heisman Trophy, had he not torn his ACL.

The Ducks were flying high and ranked No. 2 in America until he tore his ACL against Arizona State. He then completely tore it two weeks later against Arizona, all but ending Oregon’s dream season.

Dixon is still a legend in Eugene and across the college football landscape, and rightfully so. He was a magician with his ball fakes and they were a thing of beauty to watch.
