Nation's No. 4 EDGE Jayden Wayne locks in Oregon official visit

Tacoma (Wash.) Lincoln EDGE Jayden Wayne will take his official visit to Oregon on June 24-26, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons has confirmed.

Wayne is the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 4 EDGE and the No. 1 junior in Washington.

In addition to seeing the Ducks, Jayden Wayne has already scheduled an official visit to Georgia, which will take place next weekend, May 20-22.

Oregon currently holds a slight lead in his recruitment, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Ducks a 43.4 percent chance of securing Wayne’s commitment, with Alabama slightly behind at 36.1 percent. The Crimson Tide are also expected to receive an official visit from Wayne — likely this summer.
