Philadelphia (Penn.) Roman Catholic four-star wide receiver Tyseer Denmark committed to Oregon on Thursday. He chose the Ducks over Ohio State and Penn State.

Denmark is the No. 121 overall prospect and No. 20 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Pennsylvania.

On3 rates Denmark higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 19 wide receiver in the country.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound prospect was last in Eugene on July 28 for an unofficial visit. He is now the third member of Oregon’s 2024 recruiting class alongside Medford (Ore.) North Medford four-star tight end A.J. Pugliano and Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen three-star offensive tackle Fox Crader.

“The Oregon coaches genuinely care about you,“ Denmarktold Dominiqk Peterson of Scoop Duck on Aug. 10. “For example, they are willing to talk about what you’re going through off the field or anything mentally – if needed.

“There is a brotherly love up there in Eugene, and I love that so much. The coaches really make sure that there is a family culture.”

During the trip, Denmark spoke with wide receivers Seven McGee and Dont’e Thornton. He also got to have conversations with multiple Oregon coaches.

“I was able to talk with (head) coach (Dan) Lanning, (wide receivers coach Junior) Adams and (offensive coordinator Kenny) Dillingham while up there,” Denmark said. “They just basically told me that I’m a great fit and that they loved my film.

“I also played rock, paper, scissors with them and had a great time.”

Denmark has an On3 NIL Valuation of $67K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
