WATCH: OutKast's Big Boi trolls Ohio State fans from The Shoe
While Big Boi may be beloved for his music, he’s not making any fans in Columbus today. In attendance to watch the Oregon Ducks take on Ohio State, the acclaimed rapper reveled in the silence of Buckeyes fans.
Follow the third touchdown of the day by Oregon running back CJ Verdell, it was somber inside The Shoe for Ohio State fans. So far, Oregon’s offense hasn’t had any trouble against the Buckeyes defense.
Moreover, Big Boi is a big-time Oregon football fan. Additionally, he has his reasons — his son, Cross Patton, joined the team last year as a walk-on running back.
Even though Patton hasn’t gotten to play yet in his college career, Big Boi mentioned that he won’t miss a game, or the moment.
“At any time they can call his number, I’m not gonna miss that,” said Big Boi last year, per KVAL’s Hayden Herrera. He had to go through the ranks and make his bones.”

While Big Boi isn’t making any fans in Columbus right now, he’s fully immersed in his Oregon fandom.
Oregon: CJ Verdell on fire
Much to the delight of Big Boi, Oregon running back CJ Verdell can’t be cooled down right now.
After starting the game with a 14-yard touchdown run, Verdell added a 14-yard touchdown catch later in the game. Then, to begin the second half, the Oregon running back scampered to the end zone for a 77-yard touchdown run.
While his son may be behind Verdell on the depth chart, Big Boi isn’t complaining. If the Oregon running back can keep it up, Ducks fans everywhere will celebrate.
