Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview four-star cornerback Jalyn Crawford received an article from Penn State on Wednesday afternoon. He announced the news over social media.

Crawford is the No. 123 overall prospect and No. 10 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 22 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-0, 170-pound prospect holds 23 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction MachineLSU is leading for his commitment at 89.2%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Nittany Lions’ 2024 recruiting class currently contains one commitment. Erie (Penn.) McDowell four-star interior offensive lineman Cooper Cousins pledged to head coach James Franklin on Jan. 29.

Meanwhile, Penn State’s 2023 class contains 19 prospects and ranks No. 13 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 2 in the Big Ten. The group’s highest-ranked recruit is Ashburn (Va.) Broad Run four-star interior offensive lineman Alex Birchmeier, the No. 45 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Crawford has an On3 NIL Valuation of $64K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
