One of the nation’s top prospects in 2023 will take an official visit to Penn State June 17. Phenix City (Ala.) Central EDGE Tomarrion Parker locked in his official visit to Happy Valley on Twitter Friday.

Parker, a four-star prospect, is the No. 92 player nationally in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks No. 71 in the 2023 On300.

Georgia currently holds the runaway lead in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine at 90.6%, but Penn State has the honor of being Parker’s first scheduled official visit.

Auburn back in the mix for Tomarrion Parker

After the Tigers dropped off in the recruitment for Tomarrion Parker, Auburn is now back in the mix for the nation’s No. 12 EDGE.

“I talked to Coach (Bryan) Harsin and we talked things out, our differences and things like that,” Parker said. “And then Coach (Jimmy) Brumbaugh came and watched me practice. Ever since then, it’s like a switched flipped on at Auburn. They are doing a great job of recruiting me.”

Auburn sits in second at 2.6% in the RPM for the 6-foot-4, 257-pounder.

Tomarrion Parker Scouting Summary

On3 Director of Scouting Charles Power wrote the following on Tomarrion Parker as a prospect:

Productive player as a junior for state champion runner-ups in Alabama’s highest classification. The definition of an active player. Totaled 23 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a junior. Consistently chases backside and is constantly in pursuit of the football. Polished pass rusher as well that has extremely active hands and understands how to use leverage to his advantage. Registers as a good, but not elite athlete in the combine setting and looks to lack high-end length at the position. One of the highest floors in the class due to being so technically sound and refined as both a run defender and pass rusher.
