Macon (Ga.) Howard four-star defensive lineman Zavion Hardy announced that he will be attending junior college Tuesday night on Twitter. Hardy has been committed to South Carolina since August 21.

Hardy started in a tweet that he ran into some academic trouble early in high school and those issues caught up with him. He noted that he will return in December 2024.

Hardy is the No. 379 overall prospect and No. 45 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 37 player in Georgia.

Hardy currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $17.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
