South Carolina’s Erik Stevenson made an athletic play over Vanderbilt after scooping his own rebound on a missed three-pointer and dunking over the defense. Stevenson’s big play came as the Gamecocks were beginning to run away with the game in the second half, outscoring Vanderbilt 44-31 after halftime.

Adding to the moment for Stevenson and the Gamecocks offense, Stevenson had hit two previous three point attempts within the last three minute stretch of the game. His miss just off the rim bounced around for a moment before being scooped up mid-run by Stevenson, giving him the momentum he needed to go to the rim aggressively for the finish.
South Carolina went on to win in the SEC matchup, improving to 12-7 on the year, despite just a 3-4 start to conference play.
