On3 Consensus four-star recruit Andrej Stojakovic has committed to Stanford over the likes of Texas, UCLA, and Oregon.

The Carmichael (Calif.) Jesuit class of 2023 wing is the son of former NBA All-Star and Champion Peja Stojakovic. Andrej becomes the second addition to Stanford’s recruiting class, joining four-star guard Kanaan Carlyle (No. 24).

Stojakovic is the No. 22 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also ranked as the No. 6 small forward in the class and the No. 4 prospect in the state of California.

Stojakovic on his commitment to Stanford

“I chose Stanford because in my eyes, It wasn’t just the best basketball decision for me, but also the best academic and long term decision of the four,” Stojakovic said to On3. “I believe in the whole program from top to bottom.”

What type of player is Stanford getting in Andrej Stojakovic, in his own words?

“Stanford is getting a player that will be able to contribute right away and be ready to go from day one,” he says. “A player who stays in the gym and plays to his strengths. Someone who wants to win and will help to turn the program around to where it should be.”

Stojakovic has a message for Cardinal fans.

“Get Ready! I’m ready to be all in and invested to the program. Let’s Rock!”

On3 NIL Valuation

Stojakovic currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $129,000, which ranks 47th overall in high school basketball. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Scouting Summary

Andrej Stojakovic has a lot of tools. It all starts with his scoring. He is comfortable with the one and two dribble pull-up and the catch and shoot three. His confidence has grown the most over the last 12 months. He is playing with a swagger about him. The shooting guard will need to continue gaining strength and tightening up everything, the handle, footwork, etc. He is the son of NBA great Peja Stojakovic. He is confident in his ability, he moves well, and he can score the ball at a high clip. – On3’s Jamie Shaw
