Mobile (Ala.) Baker four-star quarterback Josh Flowers received an offer from Texas A&M on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.

Flowers is the No. 214 overall prospect and No. 15 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 14 player in Alabama.

On3 rates Flowers higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is also the No. 82 overall prospect, No. 7 quarterback and No. 6 player in Alabama.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound signal-caller holds eight offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Arkansas has a commanding lead for his commitment at 94.5%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Aggies’ 2024 recruiting class contains three commits. They are Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Katy (Texas) Tompkins four-star interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star wide receiver Debron Gatling.

Flowers has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
