2023 OT Connor Stroh picks up Texas offer on Austin visit

Texas offered Frisco (Texas) Wakeland offensive tackle Connor Stroh on Saturday during the class of 2023 recruit’s visit to Austin.

The offer is Stroh’s first from a college program.

He is a 6-foot-7, 345-pound lineman from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He was at the Red River Showdown last weekend and at Texas A&M two weekends ago.

Arch Manning is in Austin this weekend

The No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2023, Arch Manning is a generational talent on the recruiting trail.

Texas has been at the forefront of his recruiting, and this week will be key for the Longhorns long-term recruitment of Manning.

Steve Sarkisian flew out to Louisiana to watch Manning play for New Orleans Isidore Newman on Thursday night. Sarkisian stayed for the entire game, which was a 12-7 win for LaPlace (La.) St. Charles Catholic.

Now, Manning is in Texas for the game versus Oklahoma State. On3 released the first industry predictions on Manning this week, and the experts on bullish on the Longhorns chances for Manning.

Connor Stroh is one of many recruits in town

Frisco (Texas) Liberty five-star wide receiver Evan Stewart is the Longhorns top target remaining in the 2022 cycle. Like Connor Stroh, he is visiting Austin after being at the Red River Showdown last week.

Stewart flashed the Hook ‘Em hand sign before the game Saturday. The No. 4 recruit in the 2022 cycle’s top five schools are AlabamaFloridaLSUTexas, and Texas A&M.

On300 recruits Greer (S.C.) IMG Academy five-star tight end Jaleel Skinner, Ponchatoula (La.) High safety Jacoby Mathews, Baton Rouge (La.) Madison Prep Academy defensive lineman Quency Wiggins and Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman Earnest Greene are also at the game.
