Chatsworth (Calif.) four-star defensive lineman Cameron Brandt received an offer from Texas on Monday night. The Stanford commit announced the news over social media.

Brandt is the No. 383 overall prospect and No. 47 defensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 26 player in California.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect has been committed to the Cardinal since July 30. Stanford’s 2023 recruiting class currently ranks No. 28 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the Pac-12.

Brandt is now the fourth-highest-rated pledge in the Cardinal’s group following a decommitment from Folsom (Calif.) four-star tight end Walker Lyons. He backed off his commitment to Stanford two days after head coach David Shaw stepped down.

Brandt has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
