USC has extended a scholarship offer to Jacksonville Westside four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall.

Hall is the No. 212 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 ranks Hall much higher, placing him as the No. 96 overall recruit in the 2023 On300 ranking. That puts him as the 16th-best defensive lineman in the country and 18th-best player from the state of Florida.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote about Hall during his week zero recap of high school action across the country.

“2023 Jacksonville Westside defensive tackle Jordan Hall showcased outstanding first-step quickness. The Top 100 junior was in the backfield in the blink of an eye on multiple occasions,” Power wrote.

On3’s Jeremy Johnson caught up with Hall early in the high school season. Hall said at the time that he did not have any list but was looking forward to continuing to develop relationships and narrow down his options.

“I want to get to every school that has offered me and some that hasn’t,” Hall said. “I’m really just exploring my options as much as possible. I’m not too key on too many places right now, but I have some places in mind.”

USC has the second-best recruiting class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Two five-star commits headline the class in Los Alamitos (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson and Las Vegas Bishop Gorman five-star wide receiver Zachariah Branch.

Defensive line may be an area of priority for the Trojans heading into the 2023 cycle. Lincoln Riley and his staff currently have zero defensive lineman commits in its 2022 recruiting class. Although they do have a commitment from Stockton (Calif.) Edison three-star EDGE Devan Thompkins.
