Metairie (La.) St Martin’s Episcopal School four-star running back Harlem Berry received an offer from USC on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.

Berry is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 2 running back in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 5-foot-10.5, 165-pound tailback holds 16 offers. His performance during a game this past season received high praise from On3’s Sam Spiegelman.

“Harlem Berry is the early No. 1 player in The Boot for the 2025 class, which is beginning to take shape as pass by the midway point of the regular season,” Spiegelman wrote. “Berry, a lanky 5-foot-11, 170-pounder for St. Martin’s, is the focal point of the offense as a running back, receiver and even quarterback. While the explosive RB was largely held in check by a sound Riverside defense that flew to the football, Berry still managed 109 yards on 24 touches. The sophomore just eclipsed the Century mark rushing in the loss on Friday night.”

USC has no commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. Meanwhile, the Trojans’ 2023 class contains 20 pledges and ranks No. 14 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 2 in the Pac-12.

Berry has an On NIL Valuation of $74K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
