Washington State’s next two games, including Thursday night’s game, have been postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the program, the Cougars announced Thursday.

The Cougars’ games against Oregon and Oregon State have been postponed and will be made up later. Washington State will work with the two teams and the Pac-12 to find dates to reschedule the games. The dates will be announced at a later date, the release said.

These aren’t the first games Washington State has had postponed this year due to COVID-19 issues within its program. Washington was supposed to host the Cougars on Dec. 29, but that game didn’t happen because Washington State had COVID-19 issues.

The Cougars are 10-7 overall and 3-3 in Pac-12 action this season. They’re coming off a 65-57 win over Cal earlier this week.

Washington State’s next scheduled game is set for Jan. 26 against Utah.

Big Ten matchup between Ohio State and Nebraska postponed due to COVID-19 issues

A pivotal Big Ten game has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.

Ohio State and Nebraska were supposed to play on Saturday, but the Cornhuskers are dealing with COVID-19 issues. They don’t have the minimum seven players to play the game, according to a press release.

Nebraska is in the midst of a six-game losing streak and coming off a 78-71 loss to Indiana on Monday. The Cornhuskers are 6-13 overall and 0-8 in Big Ten play this season.

Ohio State, meanwhile, is 12-4 overall and 5-2 in conference action. The Buckeyes dominated in a non-conference game against IUPUI this week, holding the Jaguars to 37 points en route to an 83-37 victory.

The two teams will work with the Big Ten office to find a date to reschedule the game, according to Nebraska’s press release.

Ohio State will now get ready to take on Minnesota on Jan. 27. That game tips off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
