Connor Essegian, 2022 shooting guard, commits to Wisconsin

Connor Essegian, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Albion (Ind.) Central Noble has committed to Wisconsin basketball for the class of 2022, he tells On3.

Essegian is the Badgers’ first commitment of the class. He chose Wisconsin over Minnesota, Wake Forest, Creighton, Butler, among others.

“I chose Wisconsin because the entire coaching staff has made a strong effort to build relationships with me and the people close around me,” Essegian said. “The style of play will really put me in a position to be successful in many different ways. The players also made me feel like one of them and that I was already a part of the program. Wisconsin felt like home and I’m excited for it to be next year.”
