St. Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University wideout Christopher Brooks Jr. has flipped from Yale to accept a scholarship offer from Wisconsin.

“I’d like to thank them, especially Coach (Tony) Reno, for giving me an opportunity when not many others did so. I’m forever grateful and wish nothing but the best for Yale football. With that being said I would like to announced I will be decommitting from Yale,” Brooks said on social media.

“I will be committing and signing with the University of Wisconsin! I want to thank Coach (Alvis) Whitted and Coach (Paul) Chryst for this amazing opportunity.”

The Badgers offered Brooks at the end of December after a standout senior season. He had 49 catches for 959 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2021, winning conference co-offensive player of the year award and earning a spot on the all-state first team.

Christopher Brooks Jr. is the son of Chris Brooks. Chris Brooks played for Nebraska in the late 2000s and had a brief run in the NFL.

The Badgers have the No. 36 class in the 2022 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.

Louisville (Ky.) Louisville Male three-star recruit Vinny Anthony is the only other wide receiver in the recruiting class. He is the No. 751 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $19,700. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
