As a College Recruit

Compactly-built slot receiver with dynamic open field ability and refined receiver skills. Perhaps the most dangerous return man in the 2022 cycle. One of the shorter top receiver prospects nationally at a shade under 5-foot-9 but has a powerful, bulked build at that height. Registers as a top, complete athlete with top end speed and change of direction marks. Posted multiple sub 11.0 second times in the 100 meters as a junior and a stellar 3-cone drill in the combine setting. Transfers that athleticism over to the field as a big-play threat with the ball in his hands. Has strong initial burst off the line with the ability to separate within a few steps. One of the top yards after catch receivers in the cycle with high-end agility and contact balance paired with the top end speed. Open field skills show up on special teams where he has scored the most return touchdowns among top receivers in the cycle. Has true wideout skills as a natural hands catcher with the ability to track over his shoulder on vertical routes. Likely projects in the slot at the next level due to his size and skill set, but is versatile enough to serve a number of roles.

Aaron Anderson is one of the more dangerous open-field threats in the 2022 cycle. He's a compact receiver at around 5-foot-8.5 and pairs the initial burst with high-end straight-line speed. Anderson is a bit faster than Elijah Moore at the same stage, but shows quickness within his routes and strong hands that remind us of the New York Jets receiver.

Aaron Anderson impresses at Under Armour All-America Game

Charles Power

Aaron Anderson had a very strong start to the week before missing some time with a tweaked hamstring. The Alabama signee is a cat-quick slot receiver with an expanded catch radius due to his vertical leaping ability. Anderson was the leading receiver for Team Legends with 50 yards on three catches.

Aaron Anderson scores three return TD's on national TV

Charles Power

Aaron Anderson had a big game in Edna Karr's 33-19 season opening win over Reserve (La.) John Curtis. The On300 receiver scored an incredible three return touchdowns. The first score came in the first quarter – Anderson took a punt off the bounce, cut back across the field to his right and raced up the sideline for a 91-yard touchdown. He then took a kickoff to the house late in the third quarter. Anderson answered again in near rapid succession, with a third score on a penalty-shortened kickoff. The game was each team's season opener, due to Hurricane Ida.
