As a College Recruit

Developmental edge rusher that possesses great burst and twitch with a knack for getting to the quarterback. Measured at around 6-foot3, 225 pounds with a 33.7-inch arm and 10-inch hand. Has room to continue adding mass to his lean build. A native of Senegal who moved to the United States to seek a career as a professional basketball player. With his movement skills and body control, it is easy to see how those abilities on the court have translated to the football field as a pass rusher and as a wide receiver. Has solid hand usage for being a developmental prospect. Much more refined against the run than you would expect for someone who didn’t know how to put on pads three years ago. Made rapid improvements from his sophomore to junior season, particularly with his burst off the ball. Even though he needs to continue to fill out his frame, he arguably has the highest ceiling of any prospect in the state of Oklahoma. Highly productive against subpar competition at the high school level and may need some time to adjust to the speed of the game once in college. Showed intriguing physicality and a high effort level at the All-American Bowl as a senior. Will need to continue filling out a relatively thin frame once in a college strength program.

Bai Jobe is a twitchy pass rusher and former basketball-first athlete who is new to football. That was the case with K'Lavon Chaisson in the 2017 cycle. Jobe is around the same size as Chaisson at a similar stage, but is a touch longer and should have more room to add weight.
