As a College Recruit

A high school quarterback that projects at safety long-term. Is a playmaker at the high school level with, or without the ball in hand. Is a top athlete at the position, doubling as an accomplished sprinter with a 10.48 second 100 meter time to his name. The track speed transfers over to the field, where he shows breakaway ability and the speed to cover from the hashmark to the boundary. Has shown some technical ability and natural movement skills at defensive back in camps a 7-on-7 settings despite being a high school quarterback. High football I.Q. will aid in the full-time transition to safety at the next level. A hyper competitive athlete with a passion for competing in rodeo.

Bryce Anderson is more highly-touted than T.J. Ward as a high school prospect, but we see some similarities in the size and frame at 5-foot-10.5 along with the instincts for the position. Ward tested well as a pro prospect, but Anderson is a stronger athlete at the same stage.

Bryce Anderson evaluation at Under Armour All-America Game

Charles Power

Bryce Anderson worked at safety at Under Armour after spending the majority of his high school career as a quarterback. Anderson has elite straight line speed as a sub 10.5 second sprinter. The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder did not look out of place in coverage despite his lack of experience. He’s a smart player with athletic upside.
