As a College Recruit

Interior disruptor that is a consistent people mover who wins with leverage, length and raw power. Stands in at a shade under 6-foot-3, 285 pounds with 34+ inch arms and a 10-inch hand. Threw 46 feet in the shot put during his junior track and field season. Has the strike and pop teams covet in interior defenders. Paired with Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Adepoju Adebawore to create a vicious front at North Kansas City High. Flashed some high-end interior pass rush ability. Finished his senior season with 18 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Shows some explosion in his get off. Registers as a strong athlete. Ran an electronically-timed 5.00 40-yard dash, 4.65 shuttle and jumped a 28-inch vertical during the spring camp circuit before his senior year. Can get stuck in the mud at times when maneuvering laterally. Need to see some development in his change of direction in order to excel at the next level. Has the build, raw power and twitch to develop into an impact player.

Edric Hill's explosive athleticism, plus length and ability as an interior pass rusher reminds us of Perrion Winfrey. Hill is a bit shorter than Winfrey and as more of a touted recruit out of high school as Winfrey went the JUCO route.

Edric Hill is an On3 Outlier

Charles Power

Edric Hill is one of the more physically gifted defensive linemen in the 2023 cycle. The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder has 34.5-inch arms and ran an electronically-timed 4.99 second 40-yard dash at the Under Armour Next camp series during the spring. The explosive athleticism and high-end length show up on the field. Hill is a disruptive interior pass rusher for Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City where he lines up alongside five-star Oklahoma EDGE commit Adepoju Adebawore. It’s often a race to the quarterback. There’s still considerable upside for Hill as he continues to develop from a technical standpoint.
