Versatile edge rusher whose outstanding athleticism shines not only when he’s rushing the passer, but as a ball carrier as well. Carried the ball 94 times for 630 yards and 5 touchdowns during his junior campaign. Also totaled 88 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 6 sacks. Twitch and burst shines on tape on both sides of the ball. Stands in at just a hair under 6-foot-4, 225 pounds with a 6-foot-7 wingspan. Ran and jumped some freakish track and field numbers during his sophomore track and field season for his size. Jumped a 22-foot-4 long jump, ran an 11.33 100m and a 22.65 200m all as a sophomore. Raw edge rusher who will need to develop a pass rush arsenal. Immense upside on physique and movement skills alone. Basketball player as well. Need to monitor recovery from lower leg injury suffered during junior basketball season. One of the youngest edge defenders in the 2023 recruiting cycle.
