Twitchy, athletic corner who shows a penchant for making plays on the ball in coverage. Measured at around 5-foot-11.5, 166 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length for the position with a 6-foot-4 wing-span. Turned in several strong showing at college camps as a rising senior, particularly in athletic testing portions, posting sub 4.4-second 40-yard dash times and jumping over 40 inches in the vertical. Plays for one of the top high school football programs in the Birmingham area. Shows his athleticism on Friday nights, primarily playing in off coverage. Has encouraging ball production with seven interceptions and 25 pass break ups over his final two high school seasons. Shows the ability to track and make plays on the football with his length and athleticism. Faces top competition playing in Alabama’s highest classification and fares well when facing top wide receivers. Has the speed to stay in-phase on vertical routes. Closes quickly, showing good instincts in defending the quick passing game. Shows some physicality and is a willing tackler. Will need to add some mass and continue honing his fluidity and footwork to aid with redirecting in coverage.
