Tre Harris was an On3 Consensus three-star prospect coming out of Lafayette (Louisiana) Comeaux High School in the 2020 recruiting class. He signed with Louisiana Tech over offers from Louisiana, Louisiana-Monroe, Nicholls State and Northwestern State. Harris had 65 receptions for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022 and was first-team All-CUSA after earning honorable mention all-league honors in 2021. He entered the Transfer Portal after the 2022 season.
