Angel Reese makes appearance at Ravens-Bills Sunday Night Football game
Baltimore native and WNBA star Angel Reese was in attendance to cheer on her hometown Ravens on Sunday night against the Bills. Reese posed with a Ravens jersey that had her name on the back and No. 5, the same number she wears for the Chicago Sky.
The Sunday Night Football matchup is set to be an entertaining one as it features two of the top quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. You can view Reese at the game below.
Reese just wrapped up her rookie season with the Sky after being drafted No. 7 overall out of LSU. She led the league with 13.1 rebounds per game on her way to setting the rookie record for most rebounds in a single season. She at one point broke the overall record before suffering a wrist injury and being surpassed by A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.
Angel Reese attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, where she won three championships and was named the Player of the Year in Maryland. She would go on to play the first two seasons of her college career for the Maryland Terrapins before transferring to Baton Rouge.

Reese has made her love for her hometown well known over the years. In one game this past season, she wore a pair of custom shoes that read “Baltimore Barbie” on them, a play on her nickname of “Bayou Barbie” that she earned at LSU.
The Ravens certainly need a win Sunday as they have started out 1-2 this season. Perhaps with Reese in the crowd cheering them on, they can get it done.
