CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- Heading into the finale of the Tennessee high school football 2025 season, the last game was the TSSAA BlueCross Bowl Class 6A, Division I clash between 8-time state champion Oakland versus Ravenwood.

With neither team having lost a game up until Saturday, with both sporting identical 14-0 records, something had to give. That something, or more like someone, was Ole Miss signee Craig Tutt.

The future Rebel rushed for a game-high 226 yards on 32 carries and scored seven touchdowns as the Patriots rolled to a 62-21 drubbing of the Raptors on Saturday night at Finley Stadium. With the win, the Patriots secured the team’s ninth state championship in program history.

Oakland (15-0) dominated for much of the game as the game never seemed ever seriously in doubt as the Patriots carried a commanding 28-7 lead heading into intermission and a 35-7 advantage going into the final frame.

The fourth quarter is where Ravenwood (14-1) would find its most offensive success, scoring two touchdowns in the period.
