Waianae High School, located in Waianae, Hawaii, is one of the state's most respected athletic programs and has built a proud tradition rooted in the culture of Oahu’s Leeward Coast. Known as the Seariders, the school competes in the Hawaii High School Athletic Association as a member of the Oahu Interscholastic Association. Waianae has achieved sustained success across football, wrestling, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, judo, paddling, track and field, cross country, golf, and tennis. The Seariders are particularly renowned for football, where they have captured league championships, made numerous state playoff appearances, and produced many NCAA Division I and professional athletes. The school has also enjoyed significant success in wrestling and paddling, consistently earning league and state honors. Supported by passionate community backing, a deep sense of local pride, and a culture emphasizing toughness, discipline, and resilience, Waianae regularly contends for championships across multiple sports.
